In many virtual instruments dynamics\expression can not be controlled via velocity, but only via expression pedal or modwheel\joystick.
I wonder if in the Korg Kronos there are patches where you don't have the option to control dynamics via velocity, but only via expression pedal or joystick, in its stock sounds or in its expansion libraries. |

You can reassign variations in amplitude, filter or pitch to anything you want in any program. |

I want to refine my question:
It is not just velocity vs joystick\pedal.
What I really meant to ask is whether there are patches where dynamics\expression is attached to CC11 or other CC channel, instead of velocity, by default, and if so,whether you can not change it from CC11 to velocity if you want.
Like in those high end virtual instruments where sometimes you can use only CC11 to control dynamics\expression and that's it, no option to use velocity or any other MIDI channel . |
