Hello
I am using a SET saved on disk as direct style set. When I try to edit the style in the set and try to save it does not allow me to save, as if the style is protected.
Kindly advise solution.

In this case,just power off and restart pa4x.....
As long as you don't mess up with KORG DISK/SD/HD Connection ,it should work fine,i do it all the time,of course you can edit it and re-save it or save it on enother entry of USER/DIRECT banks. _________________

I tried to reboot many times but same problem.
I just noticed that a flag called protect media was enabled.
SO it was not allowing me to write style changes. _________________ --------------------------------------------

Hi humnair
I shall habe the same problem. When i chose ŕ Direct style i cannot select anystyle anymore. I thank this is when i changed the drumkit. Can you please confirm this ?
And where ist the protected case is? |

You can protect/unprotect files - use the on-screen drop down menu

As karmathanever said; press global, press menu, press mode preferences than unsellecet "factory" Now you can edit direct part. |

Sorry - what I meant was that you can apply or remove "file/folder write-protection" in MEDIA mode by using the screen's drop-down menu.
