I have changed my live set up to send L/R to the house. Problem with that is I can't use my little monitor anymore. I was feeding mono to my monitor and then that to the house as a mono feed.
Is it possible to route my L/R to one of the 1-4 outputs to feed my monitor while still using my L/R stereo outputs for the board/house? I have played live where they have sent one channel back to my wedge, but it's hard not having both channels. I want to use my personal monitor again.
Thanks! _________________ "The black keys were too hard to play, so I had them removed" |

I have a Y cable that plugs into headphones jack and splits into two to go wherever i send it.
But you can do what you asked. You have to go to Global mode and start from the “Basic” tab page. look for the “Audio” tab page and open that page.
Look on the upper right side of the screen and you will see L/R bus/ Indv. assign. That lets you select a pair of Individual outputs to send L/R signal through.
Master slider will become isolated volume control for the bussed signal while Main volume knob will continue to affect L/R and overall volume control of anything bussed from L/R. |

Ahh, I see that, thanks! I haven't tested yet, but if I put a Y adapter on outputs 1-2 (to bridge stereo signal into mono to feed my personal monitor), do you suppose that will also bridge my L/R output down to mono?
Thanks for the info too! _________________ "The black keys were too hard to play, so I had them removed" |

Kronos can't send a signal to an individual output and stereo ouput at the same time.
But, you can work around the problem by doing that way :
Using a combi, put the same Program in two channels. On IFX page, just select 1,2,3 or 4 as "Bus Select" after IFX you want, for one of the two identical programs (instead of L/R). For the other, you keep the "Bus Select" to L/R. (just have a look at Bus Select (IFX/Indiv.Out Assign)
[L/R, IFX1…12, 1…4, 1/2…3/4, Off] page 503 and 505 Parameter's Guide)
Therefore, one sound will came out in Mono from one of the individual outputs and at the same time out of the L/R stereo outputs.
There are tow downsides to this method :
1°) The program you send to individual output won't profit from MFX and TFX but only IFX.
2°) As you use two entries for two identical programs, the number of available IFX will be reduced. |

Take the headphone output as stereo and send to FOH. Take the L/mono output to your monitor.

Problem Solved
Run my L/R on the back of the board to FOH
My personal monitor has a L/R RCA input for CD player. I will run that to my headphone jack.
I haven't tested (ordered cables from Amazon). As long as the L/R on my Beheringer monitor isn't bridged to where it somehow makes my main L/R mono, I'll be cool.
Thanks for the ideas! _________________ "The black keys were too hard to play, so I had them removed" |
