You are right, so only in case one prefer to use setlists for simple patches (like mentioned by mintjamman) it would be better to use simple Bank-Selects/PrgChanges.

No, to use songbook is not necessary for simply changing patches without songbased style or mid-files. ... --->

Maybe better done with kbdsets-library or direct access buttons via autoselect function of kbdsets and only combined with sb-entries in case style or song should be changed!
Easy to use works best with the most suitable function for the desired application IMHO!

Selecting sb-entries there is not a 127 program limit. Sb-entries remotely are selected with NRPN (#99 value 2, #98 value 64, #06 value thousands and hundreds of entry, #38 value tens and units of entry). Range of sb-data-entry is between 0000 and 9999 (for example entry 2468: #06 value "24", #38 value "68"). _________________ kind regards
