Got a new problem with my Korg Oasys 88.
When I select a sound it just makes weird noises but it works fine in some of the sounds.
Here's a video example:

Anyone experienced this before. I just had a new SSD put in 5 months ago. _________________ Korg Oasys 88

That is weird. It sounds like the lowpass filter is closed and that resonance is way up. Play with your Filter and Resonance knobs, while in R.TIME KNOBS/KARMA mode and see what happens. Try turning the CUTOFF (PAN) knob to the right, and turn the RESONANCE (EQ TRIM) knob to the left.
If I had to guess, it sounds like that mode (or TONE ADJUST) is locked in, even though you are changing sounds. The CX3 organ doesn't have a filter, so those sounded normal.
Have you tried loading in the factory preload, from your FACTORY folder? That might clear it up. |

Twisting the knobs didn’t work, but going into filters and then pressing bypass did the trick. The pianos are really bright now! I tried to do a Factory install but I’m not sure if I was doing it properly. Thanks for your help(again) Mike. _________________ Korg Oasys 88
