My Kronos is refusing to boot with the restore OS/firmware message, but accompanied by "19,keybed" error.

I don't have my recovery disks since they got damaged in a flood.

Anyone know off-hand since it's saying "19,keybed", if that's actually the significant error rather than the OS on the SSD?

I'm guessing that something's gone bad hardware-wise.

Thanks!

That error does not seem to be listed in the user manual.
I suggest you contact Korg support to discuss the matter.
Also, request copies of the dvd disks.....if the Kronos is registered to you as the original owner etc.

You could try using the recent os/firmare, which can be downloaded from their site, following the instructions that come with it.
Not sure if this would work, but worth considering...???

Thanks, but I'd already tried updating the firmware.

I can't update the OS because I can't get far enough through the boot.

I also lost the DVDs which came with the Kronos in a flood.

I'll drop Korg a support request though. Thanks!

I know this is an older thread, but, did they actually tell you what caused the error? Mine's doing the same thing. Even with the original start up disks.

Update: Problem resolved. Although for mine, it was painful.
