I suspect the answer is "no", but is there a simple way to convert a 4/4 style to 5/4 ?
Thanks in advance, _________________ Korg Pa4X (OS NEXT 3.1.0)

You'd have to use a DAW to edit the Style. _________________ Sam

The reverse case 5/4 to 4/4 would had a meaning to try a tricky way without exporting it into DAW editor ,
but this kind of convertion requires to re-write this Style or Var else style will sound incomplete after adding
only 1 bar midi events in whatever method you will use !! _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer

To change from 4/4 to 5/4 means that there is an extra beat. Even a sequencer/DAW would not know what to add or change. There are many, many phrases or groups of notes possible to occupy that extra beat. How could the sequencer or DAW know what you want?
Even going in the opposite way 5/4 to 4/4 would most probably leave you with something you would not like.
It is like everybody says, you would have to do the rewriting; note by note, phrase by phrase. _________________ Pa4x, Oasys 76, K2000, PC3K7, Montage 8, Pa5x |
