i have the oriental model 76 keys,
a lot of very nice styles, but some endings do not have minor or major
they sound the same Confused
for example you are playing song in major end the ending is in minor despite that you are holding major chord Question
how i can fix that please?

WELCOME to Korg forums Very Happy

Firstly, INTRO1 and ENDING1 will play the chords as recorded in the style - i.e. preset sequence - you can change chords during INTRO1/ENDING1 but it will most likely sound odd - the idea is that you let these play on their own (don't change chords - during - just play the initial chord to kick it off) - usually these will be created to respond well to major or minor (i.e. the chord you start with).

INTRO2 and ENDING2 are designed like VARs in that you can play your own chords during these elements and they should sound OK.

If a STYLE INTRO/ENDING sounds the same whether major or minor then it will be the way the style was created.
I assume you are not talking about factory or Korg supplied bonus styles?
If you are, please give us examples and we will try to help...

Cheers

Pete Very Happy

Thank you for your quick response ,
the styles that i am talking are indeed factory from the Turkish ones, the strange thing is that the keyboard will play only major or minor despite of what you are holding, i guess they are created that way which is wrong, my question is how to change them, to correct them, so minor responses to minor and major responses to major, in Rolland was easier you just make M=m=7 or m=M=7 end that is how you correct wrong minor or major chords, on the Korg it is a mystery , no mater what i try in style edit, it stays the same ,
i have found how to fix it: in NTT table should be fifth instead of no transpose,
one style for example is User/Favorite 5 / 2 style/ Slow 1 TR ,ending 1 plays minor even if you hold major ,now i have fixed it in the manner described above ,
almost all of the styles in that bank have the same problem in ending 1 ,
intro1 and intro2
only playing minor or major
the bank is User/Favorite 5 and Favorite 6
that is around 40 styles
