|

My MicroKey37 V2 is up and running, it uses the Korg driver 1.15.23.1 after I have been fixing the '10 device midi entry problem' in the registry. I have also followed any kind of advise I could find in this forum or elsewhere.
Still Korg Kontrol wont' connect. Manually selecting the device in [Edit]-[Preferences] offers me
[microKEY2 KEYBOARD] for Midi IN and
[microKEY2 CTRL] for Midi OUT
I have selected those but no luck. I get 'unsupported Midi device' as a response when trying to receive scene data.
Any ideas? Help from Korg very much appreciated ..... |

This forum is neither run by Korg, nor the route to contact them, but is voluntarily contributed to by a wide-ranging group of folk having an interest in Korg products. If you want to speak to Korg, contact your local Korg agent. We're here to help if we can make a useful contribution. You've followed the advice from several sources. Maybe there is an issue with the microKEY itself. Has it been tried on another computer? |

Oh, yes, tried on another computer with same Win7 64bit. And after reading many of the posts in this forum it strongly appears to be a systematic fault with the Korg Kontrol software as many people seem to have exactly the same issues on 64 bit OS. The number of threads with this problem also on other korg desktop keyboard products is huge. So why does Korg not simply tell openly that it doesn't work? Instead I am suggested to fiddle even longer around with this.
I will however not waste anymore lifetime with this, it is too precious. I can make music instead. |
