Hi I would like to sample an instrument to the Kronos, how to do it please? For instance, grab a sound from another keyboard or VST and save it in the Kronos.

All the the tutorials I have seen involve using a DAW, also I am reading the manuals (not having the easiest time on that). Thanks in advance.

Extreme sample converter has a VST converter built in. Just convert to Soundfont and load straight to Kronos.

You don't need a VST or another computer to sample a acoustic sound or an instrument, because Kronos is a fully functional sampler. You will use the audio in ports of Kronos, but you'll have to setup the Kronos first. I strongly recommend reading the sampler sections of the User Manual and the Reference Manual.

Not sure what part of the world you're in, whether or not you can access these YouTube videos, but a quick search turned up these.
