|
|
Hello
I do not own PA4x. But I was reading the owner's manual and found manual backing function very interesting.
After documentation it allows to play a bass note and a chord a the same time (bass not is affected to the lowest note)
But I don't find any information on its behaviour on following cas :
How works this manual backing function when we play a single note , not a chord ? does it play bass only ?
How works this functionnality when we play one note , and the the other notes of the chords ? Does it wait to get a complete chord to work ? Does it play bass and then chord ? does it play bass, and then bass + chord ?

From p66 of User Manual for OS2.0. >
“Manually playing the Bass line
You can play the Bass Sound with your left hand, freeing it from the auto-matic accompaniment.
Turn the Manual Bass function on
▪ Press the MANUAL BASS button to turn its indicator on.
The automatic accompaniment will stop playing (except for the Drum and Percussion Sounds), and you can manually play the Bass line on the Lower part of the keyboard.
When in Manual Bass mode, the volume level of the Bass Sound will be auto-matically set to its maximum value.
Turn the Manual Bass function off
▪ Press the MANUAL BASS button to turn its indicator off.
When turning the Manual Bass mode off, the volume level of the Bass Sound will be automatically set back to the original value.” _________________ Korg Pa4X (OS NEXT 3.1.0)

Hello
I was refering to the "Playing a manual accompaniment (Bass &
Lower Backing)" chapter of the manual
It says " You can play a simple manual accompaniment, where the chord you play with your left hand is split between the Bass (chord root) and Lower (the
remaining notes) Sounds"
But I don't find any information on its behaviour on following cas :
How works this manual backing function when we play a single note , not a chord ? does it play bass only ?
How works this functionnality when we play one note , and the the other notes of the chords ? Does it wait to get a complete chord to work ? Does it play bass and then chord ? does it play bass, and then bass + chord ? |
