So I created a Combi using the German Grand and a Analog Warm Pad.
The piano sounds great, but the pad has to be turned down to like 40% in order to not sound distorted.
I can share the patch later if that would help. I'm at work now.
Any thoughts? _________________ "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not even worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed to us." Rom 8:18 |

Check the FX assigned in Program mode versus what is assigned in Combi mode timbre for the same Pad program.
Did you copy from program with FX, to Combi?
If it used an EQ FX in program mode and the same FX was not brought to Combi mode with the program, then that could distort the sound.
Combi timbre itself has its own 3 band EQ setting that goes in addition to any FX based EQ.
EQ and Gain are the first things that come to mind for distortion issues.
Using Copy from Program is the best way to avoid inconsistencies between what a program sounds like in Program mode and what it sounds like when put to timbre for a Combi. |

I did use Copy from Program.
But I'll double check the EQ settings.
