|
|
Hello All,
I have been using Kronos for 2 years now and wanted to engage in assigning chords to the pads to play while soloing.
I did from 1 to 7 and when I play them back, it is ok until I play the 7th. Between 1 and 6 I can play around endlessly bu tif I play the 7th pad then the rest of the pads become unresponsive and the keyboard it self as well. Only sound can come from the 7th pad on the screen. 1 to 6 and 8th are ok but 7th pad is locking everything and allowing only itself to be played.
I can only change the patch and come back to the combi to resume playing.
Anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences on how to prevent this from happening? |

What PAD product are you using? I use a NanoPad from Korg and of course it works fine. Since the pads work correctly from your screen I suspect something MIDI-wise coming from the 7th pad on your device may be causing the problem. Perhaps resetting the pad device?

If Karma is on, you want to isolate Karma and test the combi’s pad 7 again just to be sure Karma is or is not the source of any rogue messages.
At least get abearng on where to start.
I would say first disconnect all exteranal devices and then be sure to scroll away from the combi and scroll back again so that it is reset to normal function.
*WITHOUT PRESSING PAD 7* or any notes or controls, go first to Karma On and set Karma to Off. Then try your Pad 7 scenario again.
If Karma off doesn’t prove any clues, then i apologize for taking up so much space on the topic here. |

Thank you very much for the replies. It was something to do with the Global settings where I had assigned CC001 to Pad1 and respectively to the other all the way to 8. I am not using an external pad by the way, just touching the screen of Kronos.
If looks like CC007 has some other effect on the program that was causing the conflict. When I reprogrammed the pads to CC051 to CC058 the problem disappeared.
Thanks again for the will and time to help. |

CC07 is the standard assignment for volume. _________________ paypal.me/CharlesFerraro |
