is it possible to use the pa700 to import a midi file for the purposes of extracting the chord progression only and then assigning different styles to the chord progression of the midi file so that the midi file can be played in different styles? Apparantly A style can be created by importing a midi file. - Can the opposite also occur - ie create a chord progression in band in a box or ireal pro or a DAW saved to midi file format - then import the midi file and selec t a style to use with the midi file's chord progression. This would make midi file creation easy as it is quick and easy to create a song progression in band in a box or Ireal pro for instance - instead of creating a song from scratch in Step backing sequence mode which would take much longer. _________________ Solo Musician and Backing Tracks creator |
