|
|
Hi, this is my first post in this forum...nice to meet you all:)
I have a question, probably an easy one.
I have copied STS2 to STS1 and I just want to use different sound for upper1 track of STS1. Whenever I do that, I loose sound from the lower track (bass). No output.
Why is this happening? The sound I want to use on STS1 is mono, could that be related? I cant figure out any other reason... Please, help!
I created this style to play solo and bass, without acc , just to use STS for different solo sounds....
Thnx in advance! |

Is your Split button still lit? If not turn it on and re-save to STS 1.
Also consider making a Songbook entry for your setup so that if you call up the "Song" (really just Style settings with 4 STS's in your case) everything will be as you want it. _________________ Free SoundFonts: https://sites.google.com/site/soundfonts4u/

Yes, it is. And another thing... if I change upper2 sound and leave upper1 untouched, the problem is gone. Lower track works.... Go figure!? |

I found the problem. Its about fx routing...incompatible fx, global lock for fx... |

When you change Upper 1 then (only in upper 1 case) , FX & FX routing of the newly selected SOUND are copied to KBD Style
global effects and this has impact to the other Upper & Lower send values and if "Direct sound" send is muted (unchecked box) like in
Rotary/Overdrive , then all upper 2&3 sounds will be also muted unless you raise send FX of upper 2/3 from 0 to 127 , very usual case ,
so always use in Upper 1 the Sound you need its FX and adjust manually FX send of the other Upper sounds.
Hope this helps _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer
