My reliable D1600 is fading out, so I just purchased another (exact same) D1600.
My question is how do I transfer all music data from old to new D1600?
Thanks in advance. _________________ I seem to have lost the plot! anyone found it? |

The D1600 is getting on, now, so there probably aren't too many folk still needing to visit this section, plus it's holiday season in the northern hemisphere. By far the busiest section of the forum is the Kronos, since it's a complex instrument, with a decent sized base of owners out there. Next is the PAx series.
Suggest checking back here in a few weeks for replies.
Actually, looking at the user manual, there is a BackupAllSongs command that could be used to save all the songs onto external media from the original D1600, and then transferring the media to the replacement D1600 and using the restore command to put all the songs into the replacement D1600. It will be possible to restore just a single song, or restore all songs, followed by the opportunity to restore the user data.
The user manual can be downloaded here:
