Nice playing Sam.
I am interested but have some questions.
1-How practical is to use the Kapro module with Pa4X for live performance, is it complicated to set it up for live performance?
2- Is there any demo version? I couldn't find it in App store.

Thanks

Thank you BR,

They have listening demos but I haven't seen any "trial" type of app for this particular product. KApro Orchestral Dreams is a sound library for the main Korg Module app. Once you install it, it gives you an additional bank that contains various presets.

Ease of use? Just connect the Midi out of your controller (or Pa4x) to your iPad and you're done. I'm using the iRig Midi 2 but you can also get the lightning adapter from Apple. What I like about the one from apple is that you can also charge the iPad at the same time. At least that's how it works with the newer models.

There are many free apps out there. I would install one of those and give it a try before buying anything.

Thanks Sam for the info.
I'll give it a try.

I am more interested to use it with my iPad for live performance with my Pa4X.
Questions:
1- Is there any set up how to control the sounds of KApro with the sound of Pa4X? For example switching between the Keyboard Sets and KApro, muting one and hearing other.
2- How about the Quarter Note? Does it (KApro) respond to Quarter Note sending by Pa4X?

Thanks.

Good questions!

1) So you want the Pa4x keyboard sets select a particular preset on the iPad? I'm not sure if it accepts band and program change messages.

2) oh man I've hardly used the quarter tone tuning. I don't think that's a standard midi parameter. It could probably be done via SysEx but I don't know if Korg Module would actually produce the note.

I'll look into these for sure.

Demoing Vocal Assault (Irish Act Studio):

This COMMERCIAL vocal/choir sound set was recorded and programmed by James Tubbritt (Irish Acts Studio) for the older Pa series, but I loaded it into the Pa4x and it works just fine. This package sounds a lot better than the factory vocal/choir sounds. James said, he might make a dedicated Pa4x Vocal Assault library in the future.

Hi gerry535,

This would be the wrong place to post because most people won't see it. Go ahead and create a new post for this.
