When plugging in a USB drive (I have tried a USB stick and USB SSD), the file listing screen remains blank.

Two new drives ("HDD:NEW VOLUME" and "RDD:no-label") do appear in the list in addition to "INTERNAL SSD" so it has recognised the device being plugged in.

I have tried formatting the drive from the Kronos. However, when I reattach it to my PC, all of the old files are still there so the format has had no effect.

I can create e new directory on this device but when I return to the PC it does not show

Any suggestions ?

Are you sure there's no partitions on the USB Stick? To check....

Assuming your a Windows user, go to “Administrator Tools”, then to “Computer Management” and finally to “Disk Management”. A windows with all your disks will appear. From here you can see if your USB Stick has a partition.

If it does....
From this moment onwards, *****MAKE SURE***** that you have the correct USB Stick selected and not one of your hard disks.

Then delete the partitions on the USB Stick and make sure that the only one on the USB Stick is a Primary Partition and it takes up all the size of your Memory Stick.

Once done, format it in your KRONOS and now you should be good to go.

Regards
Sharp.

I think an RDD is a read only format partition on a USB drive.

Resilient Distributed Dataset?

Not an expert to know if this is the context that korg places the term RDD, but they did place it where memory applies and memory that works with partitions applied for the data being handled and read.
So it is the best fit for RDD i can find and seems to match.
