|
|
Hi folks,
So I want to compose in my DAW with the Kronos instruments mostly.
I have set up my midi etc and things are working.
What I don’t understand is, since I am sending midi from my DAW I have to set the Kronos to LOCAL OFF. Otherwise I get double sound.
If I turn LOCAL OFF though I loose after touch pitchbend and so on.
What is the proper workflow?
My DAW is FLStudio and I know most people say it’s for non-musicians. I agree that FL is mostly garbage but the piano roll is the best out there and I wanna use that to compose. I have tried all other DAWs and I hate the piano rolls here.
Please tell me how to get this working.
Thanks

You've probably figured this out already, but a quick google search of "fl studio aftertouch" and "fl studio pitchbend" seems to indicate that FL needs some setup to enable these functions. Other DAWs I'm familiar with don't require this. Call it a quirk of FL. |
