I would like to combine 2 sets each (each about 100MB) and since its over the memory capacity of Pa700, I want to compress the 2 sets and make one set.
I have also Korg Pa Manager for doing this project.
I would appreciate it if somebody can guide me how to compress the sets in Pa700 or Korg Pa Manager.

Thank you

Hi BR,
you need to go to sound mode and press record and then choose compress all sounds and samples , it will take a little long and once it is done your set size will be smaller and then you can save it.
let us know how it goes.
good luck!

Thank you for reminding me. I've done it longtime ago with my Pa4X and I've forgotten.
By the way, do ypu know by any chance how to compress a set in Korg Pa Manager, in case you use this software?
Thanks

I did compress my set but after compression and listening the styles, unfortunately the Percussion samples are so loud and not good quality like before compression and it kills all other Tracks volume,
that means, we hear only percussion track very loud, and we hear barely Bass, Drum and Acc tracks... This is bad and frustrating.

Could it be because of the Pa700 compression quality?
My samples are excellent quality when playing in styles before compression. Or I am missing something.
Just FYI, I did longtime ago compress samples in Pa4X the same way with very good result but not in Pa700.

Any help appreciated.

I haven’t used the pa Manager actually was wondering if I can get your help with mixing some sets for me if you could Smile
I have a pa1000 and I compressed a set and it sounded pretty much the same as before, not sure about PA700.
Hope you find the way to achieve what you want .

No problem if it does not take too much time since I am very busy.
You can PM me your sets and explanation and I'll try my best.
