There were some questions about the KAOS arpeggiator on this forum, so the best way to show some of the features was to create a short demo where i show how i use the arpeggiator withing a song.
So here's a demo where i use the Kaos arpeggiator in a song. I'm improvising over three chords Cm - Gm - Abm. For this song i added the three chords in the chord sequencer of the pa4x so that i can fade in the arpeggiator while holding the shift button. Then i disable the chord sequencer and use the keyboard in full keyboard scan mode so that the style follows whatever chord i play with the arpeggiator.
I'm using one of the song setups from the melliflous bonus songs and keyboard sets for this demo.

Great demo again, Qui!
Hint to Korg OS developers:
I would like to see the arpeggiator options attached to - for instance - the Ensemble function.
In that way, it could be attached to a Keyboard Set, which could be part of a Songbook entry.
I find it quite difficult to switch to KAOS to trigger an arpeggio while playing a song (and switching back to the Keyboard Set tab).
There's too much involved for me to get this going in a smooth, fluent way. _________________ Musical grtz, Frans

Lovely!
I haven't experimented with this idea, but I wonder if Kaos parameters can be controlled by a midi foot controller/expression pedal? _________________ Sam
