Hello.
I'm going to connect the Korg PA1000 to an external sound card.
In the instructions Korg is written, connect non-BALANCED wires.
On the sound card it is written, connect with the Balanced wires.

How to be in this situation, I'm afraid that something can burn !?
Buy another sound with unbalanced inputs?

The Korg only has unbalanced audio outlets, ie mono.

Do have a look at the technical specs of your audio card and specifically at the audio input connections.

If it has a single input socket then it is likely to be a 1/4 inch TRS which is a balanced stereo input.

Perhaps if you post the make and model of your sound card we can help more.

It is OK to connect devices with unbalanced in/outs to devices with balanced in/outs. And its also OK to use either balanced or unbalanced cables.
The connections will still work and cannot damage anything.

The only advantage of using balanced cables with two balanced devices is to diminish the possibility of emf noise.
You will need of course two cables for stereo sound.

I have the Steinberg UR 22 II. It works both balanced or unbalanced.
See this discussion on the Steinberg forum:
