Has anyone dared to try Mojave with their Kronos audio and midi setup.
It doesn't appear to be a functional update, so I expect that the audio issues will be fine from here on, but am reluctant to be in a hurry to update, as my system is working fine on High Sierra. |

Yes, I think there is going to be politeness on Mojave , such as "you first. Oh no, please, you go first. " _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

I was just watching this on youtube today.
https://youtu.be/E0kPjJnbiW0
Only thing that concerend me was the mention about it having issues supporting apps doing 32bit or less.
That had me thinking of Kronos editor software limitations.
Would be inconvenient if it could not support kronos editor without issues. |

good point, I forgot to mention that. I saw that issue too. I don't use the editor all that much, but it would be enough to have me keep away from Mojave for music at this stage. I wonder if that will be the thing which forces the editor to be written in 64bit now? I did install Mojave on a mac which I don't use for midi, and there's nothing that really draws me to it. A lot of the new stuff I don't use, and the customisation is only stuff that I've been able to do on other OS's for years. |

I copied my High Sierra boot drive and upgraded it to Mojave for testing - No real problems with anything so far except that *SOMETIMES* the Kronos driver (1.2.3.r15) doesn't connect, but just simply reinserting the USB cable sorts it out.
I'm not so bothered about the Kronos editor, as I never really got used to it, and all my apps/plug-ins are now 64bit.
I do like the new dark mode and the updated finder window - touch wood, everything else seems fine. _________________ Synth DIY Projects |

I don't think the USB korg midi driver connection sensing is a Mojave thing, as I was having that happen on High Sierra too. (I think it is still an issue mentioned in the Korg compatbilty table?) |
