HI
Today I was trying to load some styles from USB stick. When I attach the USB I see the message that usb attached/removed but it does not appear as available drive all I see is DISK and HD option.
Another thing I noticed was that my date changes to 1 Jan 2012 ! Seems battery may be dead. Can this cause USB not to function ?
Please help.

Date memory is sustained only by pile lithioum on board battery that might be dead and must be replaced.
Change the date and unplug Pa4X for many hours to investigate that.
Battery is not associated with any other function of Pa4X like USB external drive port recognition.
Try any other USB thumb drive until you see drive option and then format it via Pa4X Media/format.
If this always fails then your Pa4X front USB port might malfunctioning and this can be primary caused when using
port for feeding external devices that consume current over 300 mA , or any mechanical distortion of USB port contucts.
Hope this helps _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer

To avoid USB port malfunction in the keyboard some players permanently have an extension lead plugged in to their USB port on their keyboards so as to prevent the contacts in the USB port becoming damaged and/or worn. |

Dear Anthony
Thank you for your inputs.
I tried a few USB's and one of them worked. Then I tried to understand why other one was not working. It seems that it was formatted a Ex-FAT (no idea what that is).
