Hi Guys,
I used to have a PA600 for 3 years, now I Have PA3X (second hand).
It sound much better... no way to compare !!!!
The only difference that I'm missing, is the menu option ....
With my PA600 I was able to copy...remane...delete any style or sound from the main menu....
With the PA3X this looks more complicated.
Do you agree with me ?
I think KORG have to release a new OS that allow those options that really make life easy.
give me your comments guy.

Hello!
Pa3x has been released earlier than pa600 and its updates stopped at 2014 where 1.63 was released fixing most bugs and making the 3x a really stable instrument.
I doubt any other updates will happen in 3x as it is way too old now but this is something i would like to see too in it... _________________ ~~~The best keyboard for any player is the one that fits his/her needs!~~~

Hi,
In January 2018, korg released an OS for PA600 that allow sampling.
This gave a second life to PA600...
According me, nothing prevents Korg to improve the PA3X OS.
unless a marketing decisions...
I hope some Korg Engineers are reading this post.

Naoufel |

Historically, Korg have not continued to update discontinued models.
I would be shocked if there was ever another update for PA3X (PA600 technically was a later model)
PA3X is very stable....
We are thinking that the future of PA4X (in terms of updates) is possibly already over too !!!
Korg's development team would most likely be focusing on current and future models - it's sort of good business sense.
The odd "late" update is always a bonus but not a frequent occurrence
BUT - life is full of surprises eh!!
Cheers

Hi All
Its simple, they just didn't give a sh#t about 3X but the money taken was good.
Pa800 had much later updates and PA600.
For me PA3X is where I put and end to buying these products... feel very unconsidered given that lower rated models got significant upgrades and we just bug fixes really.
But as you would see is that every one else here will tell you how Korg owes you nothing further and that is why we get no where. |
