I was playing a PA900 when this was recorded. It was a factory style I'm sure. Does anyone have it? I don't remember the name of it. Thanks!
By the way, that's my niece and me playing for a party in Oklahoma.

Thanks Pete. Sure hope it's there. Not life or death but I have a good reason for needing this particular style. I could make a style from midi, but this one was perfect.

Pete, a big thanks from me too for sharing those PA900 styles👍

Btw: Anyone know where I might find the 64 Beatles factory song styles that were included in Korg’s now discontinued “Liverpool arranger keyboard” released back in 2015? A listing of the 64 styles is shown on page 146 of the Korg Liverpool arranger keyboard Manual(page 146).

As a Beatles song fan Would love to have these

Scott. Cool

Hey Scott

The Liverpool is weird - a big flop from Korg from most accounts.
It is odd as it is hard to figure out exactly whether you can export things from it.
I've got a feeling that it is actually a MicroArranger with these added styles and songs.

I was tempted to buy one as they were selling for less than half the street price but those little keys would drive me mad - still an expensive way to get the styles and songs but my kids might have liked it - I could see it gathering a lot of dust!!!

Sorry can't help but I agree would be nice to have those styles etc - would Korg consider making them available? Even for a small fee?

Cheers

I particularly would be interested in the 'All you need is love' style as I'm often asked to play this at weddings.

It's weird song in that the timing switches between 4/4 time to 3/4 time in places and I would like to know how Korg have manged to get around this in their style? This limits me to playing this song without using a style

Also this probably is the reason why hardly anyone has posted a decent cover of this song on Youtube ?

Maybe I am weird too!
I love my Liverpool.
Also a big factor in why I bought my Pa4X,

Yes, the Liverpool is the Micro-arranger except for the Beatles styles and the British Flag.

I may be weirder than many here?
I liked the British Flag and the prize and did not care too much of the Beatles styles, even if I was impressed by the demo-songs.

but felt I had to use the Beatles style at least once, on a composition I made myself.

As for playing the styles on Pa4X, I don't know any direct ways of converting them. But I tried a few, just making a template song using all the variations, saving it as a Midi File, importing it in my DAW putting markers in it and importing it to Pa4X. Most of them where OK, but some should have some additional tweaking in Pa4X . So, I think it is some work.

No, YOU are not weird...

My comment was referring to Korg in creating this keyboard - why not create and sell a full set of Beatles STYLES?

A dedicated keyboard seemed ridiculous and had a massive number of bad reviews (not about the quality of the styles, but more the concept)
So, why not a "Satisfaction" keyboard full of Rolling Stones styles?

I was just amazed at the decision to market this.

I don't doubt that it is a fine little keyboard to have fun with though.

I was hoping someone (if not Korg) would save the Liverpool factory styles for us to share (or even buy).

At least there are some great "Beatles" styles already available on the PA4X
Do i really want that many from the Liverpool? Hmmmm...... not sure....

Cheers

"All you need is love" is not among the styles in the Liverpool. It is only among the demo songs the Liverpool will play in Demo mode. Otherwise I could have converted it for you.

Thanks tordenspyd for your kind offer and confirming that 'All you need is love' is a Korg sequenced Demo song not a style.

However I'm sure along with myself, others would like to hear the 'All you need is love' Demo song to see how Korg deal with the 4/4 to 3/4 timing issue... so any chance of posting us this particular Demo song?

Many thanks

The demo songs are for playing back by the host Liverpool only. You can not save them. No midi out. If they are part of the update file, they are encrypted, like other data. (My Liverpool was bought from England.)

The demo of [All you need is love] is very close to the original Beatles arrangement and has the same alteration of 4/4,3/4 and 2/4.

The Beatles released the song with 400 million viewers worldwide using a prerecorded backing. So maybe people paying tribute to them could use a prerecorded backing too?

I incidentally saw a listing of cover versions of All you need is Love, You can see it here.

https://secondhandsongs.com/performance/1596

I have heard people do straight 4/4 versions of the song. There is also an interesting 4/4+7/8 instead of 4/4+3/4 in the verses.(Simone Kopmajer)

It seems that you can't "save" all the STYLES to USB which is another reason I didn't buy it.

Is that correct? - e.g. on the PA1/2/3/4X you can save all styles (including factory)

Cheers

You can save all the styles to USB.
Also all the demo songs are also saved to USB in a backup.

However, it may be limited what you can do with them,
and seems not straight forward.

I've decoded most of the elements of the styles in terms of instruments and notes played in each variation and has thus created a marker separated midi file, so it can be done, but I have no personal motivation to decode other settings of the variations.

As for the songs, they are not midi either, I have been told that they have been encrypted, but I don't know. I think there may be copyright issues.
Maybe it is different in different regions, mayne it is different for different versions? Ive seen Japanese having Karaoke text , and the ability to change or mute instruments. My Liverpool is not like that.

But, again I didn't care for the Beatles content of the Liverpool.
I loved it because of the price.,
and the British Flag, It may become a collectors item in 100 years if it survives the temperature rise. Very Happy

Thanks for replying regarding this....

All Korg's arranger styles are upward compatible through the models so is the Liverpool different in this regard?
You can save any styles on any Korg arranger and simply load them on a matching or later model.

If you can save all the Liverpool's styles, then are you saying they are different?

(I'm really only asking about the Liverpool's styles (not its songs))

Thanks

Pete Very Happy

P.S. If Korg want to make the Liverpool Styles available as a payware SET, I'd definitely be interested
