I know this topic does not belong here but there doesn't seem to be much activity in the Sequencer section. Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you have tried the Cakewalk by Bandlab free download and if so, your opinion.
I'm looking to upgrade an older version of Sonar Home Studio. Suggestions appreciated.
Thanks. _________________ Pa4X, KronosX, BIAB, Cakewalk |

Sonar cakewalk as you know is no longer bandlab took it over and to me it looks the same as the most recent sonar cakewalk is a newer version maybe they fixed some bugs in it and it looks like it's free... you do have to sign up to login to them to make it install or work but what you do not get is all the VST and plug-ins that were the money is... I installed it right beside my sonar cakewalk and it did inport in all of my VST's plug-ins it looks the same I also still use cakewalk 9..
When it comes to MIDI in my opinion I could move around cakewalk 9 fast , the cut copy paste transpose.. For doing a lot of vocals I you sonar lots of tools in their. So keep sonar home studio and just install the new one it's free to get always uninstall it. That's just my opinion enjoy.. |

I am a Sonar user since Sonar 5, and still user Sonar by Band lab and it is the same as Sonar Platinum. So, there is no problems.
