haha, if the kronos had been cracked there would already be virtual machines available on the web no?
But in fact, I just wanted to say that the linux system is infinitely safer than a windows.
But of course I agree there is no surefire system.
At worst for the stressed ones just make an image of ssd?
Or are you going to tell me that we can also infect the electronics of Kronos?
Damned, we're all going to die ...

Because Linux have strickter "policies" (Debian is a good example, I actually have one), less market share. And Linux administrators are good with "minimize risk" approach, on windows is a mixed bag.

You could reflash some chips, but what for, and purpose ?
Unless you are a target I don't see any benefits, nor a drive to develop one.
But if we ignore it, we ignore a rule "minimise the risk"

Having backup is a MUST.
I don't backup Kronos OS, but the rest - YES. |

Dude,
If you want to do a professional product launch you need to provide potential owners the following:
- A short concise description of the product features and functions. How is my life with my Kronos going to be better with your product.
- A secure, protective site for users to explore your product without fear of being attacked on the dark web and having payment info stolen.
- Proof of being a reputable vendor providing the community with safe valuable services.
- Unparalleled support and customer service
This isn't about being grumpy, or paranoid, or jealous. Your product gives the impression of an amateur trying to make a quick buck illegitimately.
Please re-asses your approach and not attack your potential customers. _________________ Pa5x, Yamaha Genos, ForeScore |

Hello sorry that you feel targeted.
As I said above, a free version of evaluation will be available within a week.
And of course nobody is obliged to go there.
Have a nice day my friend ! _________________ Try the combinator, for creating combis in few minutes It's free !

Hi all, its me again ...
After the posts related to security I went to find out about the Midi Association website.
I asked a few questions and would not fail to provide answers if I have any.
I saw in passing that Korg is a partner of this association.
https://www.midi.org/our-partners
https://www.midi.org/forum/3534-what-about-security-to-hardware-synths
Of course I absolutely do not want to expose anyone to a danger like "Kornos infection ..."
For my part I think that these fears are unfounded, but otherwise (doument to support), I will put an end to this little adventure.

Your logic is still the same.
Make this script offline version, that way you will not put people at risk, low or hight doesn't matter but the fact is - it is there.
You have one reply from your forum 1h ago -
it’s not as dangerous as that but there are possibilities that your device is affected. so you should avoid using the web in my opinion.
I add another risk that mention previously.
If Kronos is fingeprinted ( via direct USB/Midi connection) cryminal gangs might build a database of potential clients where the expensive hardware is located and rob us from precious keyboards. |

Hello Poseidon,
Yes,
I understood, now I just want to know if I take more risk with this type of software than a Daw connected on the internet for example.
Knowing otherwise of the risk 0 does not exist. we agree . _________________ Try the combinator, for creating combis in few minutes It's free !

@ pno15
WARNING in advance - if you are intending "selling" anything on these forums you must obtain "Authorised Merchant" status approval else you may end up banned.
You mention $37 so it is fair to warn you in case you weren't aware.

Hello, I do not intend to sell anything on this forum.
Now since you're talking about it, how can I be an Authorized Merchant? _________________ Try the combinator, for creating combis in few minutes It's free !
