SST (Smooth Sound Transition) in next up date, please! It's so important. The lack of this feature is spoiling all my setup when playing live. I used to be a Tyros user and I changed to PA4X because of the so many better features but this one is the ONLY thing I really miss |

If you set up your required sounds in KEYBOARD-SETs (with similar FX) it will work quite well when changing KEYBOARD-SETs.
Not the best solution but it does work.
Cheers

First of all thank you very much for your tip, I really appreciate your help. But my problem is not the effects is the different volumes. Playing a set where Upper 2 has a volume of 80, sustain the sound with a pedal and recall another set with a Upper 2 volume of 127 causes an abrupt raise of volume in that instrument I’m still sustaining. Not to mention what happens with the other voices. That makes it impossible for me to phrase my playing and express what I want to play. I don’t know if you understand what I mean. I perform extensive progamming in all my performances and all the sounds I use are programmed using layers of Upper voices and even using Factory sounds I have them saved with different volumes. The Tyros maintains the previous sound until you press a key for the new set, not that I miss the Tyros at all, but this feature is an important must for my playing style.
Thank you very much for your support, is very nice to hear from you guys trying to help others in any way. I really appreciate it very much. |

I don't believe Tyros has SST.
Maybe Genos has? (I haven't investigated). _________________ Musical grtz, Frans

During my few hours on the Genos, I am pretty sure SST was implemented.
