I,m trying to change Assignable switch 1 currently set to drum mute to Mike talk without success. I can change, however on every power up it reverts to the previous selection. Have tried unlocking in Global but to no avail. I!m looking to have all 3 switch settings similar across all my styles.
Additionally, in Mike Talk mode, is the Mike volume kept at the same level irrespective if Mike Talk is selected or not. I get the impression that the Mike volume is reduced when Mike talk is selected. In Mike Talk I was expecting that the Mike volume was the same as without MT selected, although the backing volume can be set as required. Thanks Jim. |

Hi Jim
I have all 3 switches permanently set for all my style playing - this is how I set up mine:-
This is all to do with "My Setting" so make sure you have everything set the way you want on start-up (KBD-SET, STYLE etc...)
then...
Hold SHIFT down and press one of the switches.
Set each switch to the function you want
Make sure LOCK is ON
Press and hold "MY SETTING" button - press "OK"
All should be good now the next time you power up
Hope this helps

Many thanks Pete! Your information did the business. I hope Korg are recognising all the good support work that you and your fellow colleagues are doing.

I think the key to this is to remember that the assignments are saved with the style. Memorizing to My Settings assures that your preferences will be loaded when you power on. Turning the LOCK on assures that nothing else will change the assignments "accidentally". _________________ DonM |
