Hi everyone, How do I install the Osimo Christmas Set without it over writing my play lists. Good job I had them backed up.

You can use Korg's free songbook editor and mix and match or simply have them in a DIRECT access set
I have only my bands' and personal SONGBOOK and SETlists in the internal database and anything else (like OSIMO) in my DIRECT set

(Hope I've understood your question correctly)

Cheers

thanks Pete, I didn't have direct option, so I looked in the manual, that I have sat and patiently printed because I need it so much. So now I have opened that and followed the instructions, It has done it properly.
Thanks once again, my star
A little information goes a long way.

Hi Marion, There is the chance that Osimo will continue to provide many
additions, at the moment I have 3 sets from them.
To avoid having to make room for them I have put them on a
USB, and if I need to, I select them as Direct.
Cheers,
ecca

Thanks Ecca, I have managed to do just that, what a busy busy four weeks I have had since owning this 4x . Where can I pick up the other two sets from. do you think they are still around. I love these clever people that share all their hard worked styles, they are so time consuming to make plus you have to have a lot of experience.

Hi Marion, If the two sets are the Osimo originals,
they are available on Korg World Magazine.
One is an update and the other puts songbook
titles into plain English.Hope this is helpful.
have fun. ecca.

Hi ecca
I paid the subscription to the magazine Korg World having received volume one free. I received volume two then nothing. This has been mentioned previously in this forum. It is my opinion that they are crooks, they took my money and I have received one magazine since February 2018. I tried to contact them but got nowhere.
Regards

There has been three issues so far.

1 Sept 2017
2 Feb 2018
3 June 2018

Issue 4 is late and due 19th Nov.

Head over to Facebook and on the Korg site hunt out Adam Whittle and message him direct, he is Regional Sales Manager and contributor to the mag.

Hi Keith

Heard similar story from others - seems a bit odd.

Cheers

Hi Keith, I had the first three issues of the magazine on time,my
Korg friend who lives nearby failed on issue two,but got it once he
contacted them (in the magazine area set aside for this) and it came quickly
in the post.
I can only hope they are getting their act together before the new
mag starts to lose subscribers.

Cheers ecca.

The magazine looks beautiful with useful information. But in my opinion the price is much too high.

Hi Pete, I think the magazine could be a good idea, some of the reading
is new, some is taken out of the manuals. Osimo is as we know is new
and could be a continued bonus.
I was surprised when I received my first copy, the quality of print and the paper it is printed on are, I would imagine very expensive.
The subscription is not too bad, if the quality is maintained. More articles
are needed that can't be found in the forum or the manual.
Andy Carvill is well worth reading and probably the magazine should extend
on Korg and get people on board who can supply the same interesting
reading.

Cheers Eric.
