Hi
I am a keyboard player in a covers band, and am v new to the world of synths. I have bought a Kross 2 to0 and am enjoying using it.
I would really like some help creating the synth intro to Sterophonics Dakota and was wondering if anyone had created it or new how to create it. All help would be really appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like a simple synth sound, single note arpeggiated, with a phaser effect with slow LFO acting on the phaser, and portamento set to get the "slide" from one note to another.

Yep-like the last guy said- but i use the vintage flanger fx (S73) as a MFX.
(0.14 Speed,39 Depth,Reso 35,Manual 75, WET)

I use a Dual Oscillator PROG using SAW-CHROMA oscillator on one and a PULSE 40% on the other (i also use a RAM oscillator that sounds very similar to the intro sound for Yazoo's DONT GO. )

The portamento slide though really does make the sound.

I’ve been trying to program this sound on my Kronos but without any luck. Don’t suppose you would share it?
