Hello.

Can anybody advise on a good sample collection or patches either free or commercial for Hammond sounds. I need them mainly for Pop Rock style.

Maybe i'm new to the Kronos organ engine and am finding it difficult to program quality organs that cut nicely in the mixes.
In comparison Nord Hammonds are amazing out of the box, at least to my ears, not saying the nord is better than the Kronos, i bought it for a reason, hehehe, but i digress...

Any advice is welcome, either patches, sample collection or even video tutorial on how to take advantage of the engine are welcome.

Thank you

clarify if this is about your band rehearsals/gigs. With or without FOH/PA system mix

Seconded! I’ve had Organimation for M3 and Kronos, and it’s been excellent on both.

I took a listen in the K-Sounds website and they seem really good.

Would love to take advantage of the blackfriday discounts but Korg's shop is down at least since yesterday. Can't buy anything...
No Black Friday for me i guess...hahaha...

Anyways, thank you for the help.

I tried the freebee organs on the Korg website & was not impressed.Could never connect with the factory Korg organs but the Organimation sounds were what I was looking for, they really bring out the best of the CX3, some remind me of the Nord Electro 5 I had!

I'm going to try Organimation V2. I used to use Native Instruments B4 but I've ditched the laptop live, and went completely with the Kronos. But the Organ sounds just don't cut the same.
Thanks for the recommend. Appreciated!

Just bought Organimation 2. Excellent organ sounds.
What must be known is that they are probably built for a Prog use only (not in Combi nor SEQ) becauses each sound uses 9 IFX, 2 MFX and 1 TFX.

I wondered too why internal rotary speakers has been disconnected for an exclusive IFX Rotary use ? Any idea ?

I agree. Finally got to getting Organimation 2. Excellent patches. I wish someone would figure out a way to switch the polarity on the drawbars though. That would be sweet! Not a deal breaker though.

I purchased the Organimation set from Kevin myself. IMHO, even with his expert programming, I still do not like the CX3 engine. I own a Nord Electro 5D and that's my go to for all things Hammond & electronic organs. Even for a quick Kronos-only rehearsal, I'll still grimace and frown when I'm forced to use them. Perhaps most of the other players don't notice, but my ears certainly are tormented.....

Important info to know, thanks. I'm going to buy Organimation anyway, but my immediate need is to add great organ sounds running a split keyboard with other sounds (and maybe even using a controller keyboard) so it may not work for that, helpful to know in advance.

The only thing I can say is: connect the Kronos to a Neo Ventilator. You’ll be amazed at how the CX3 engine is transformed.
