But they have a very cool Gentle Giant thing going on and the keyboard player plays the same old model kronos that I do!

Great stuff! Is that an actuall GG tune, or an original in the style of GG? I have all of GG and I don't recall hearing that one before. (I love GG!)
I believe Alucard was the name of GG's record label - and it's also Dracula spelled backwards. _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com

Hi Stephen! Don't know for sure but I think it's an original tune by the band. If it is, they sure have the Giant thing nailed! I only got to see them twice but wow! Just an amazing group. Three Friends has occasionally played in Montreal but they've let to come to my town of Toronto. I'd sure like to catch them if they ever do come. _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

The piece is simply Alucard from GG. You can find the original online. |

Ahh... I see. It's off of the very first album. I rarely listen to that one, forgot about it. Will have to give it another listen.
I sort of don't give the first two albums the love I give Three Friends, Octopus, In a Glass House, The Power and the Glory, Free Hand and Interview. _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com

What -- no rap? No choreographed dancing? No backing tracks? I won't have it. Who do these guys think they are simply playing very challenging material and sounding great? What is the world coming to. |
