Seems patchy. Anaheim seems to be down, Fresno and LA are OK. Same with parts of Texas and New Jersey. New York is down. Parts of Europe, Asia and elsewhere, too.

toll lines were down
they went for the switch commands.... and just a basic
over load attack..
they went for the back door on the telco..
just be mind full and watch what you click..
and where you go on the net...

unplug and or turn off your equipment when it is not in use..
and make sure your fire wall is up to date...

the unplug thing is working on slowing the effects.

Appreciate the warning. I will paraphrase what you are saying.

There was a hack attack on huge server installations, specifically a ' tel co '
Who ever owned or housed the servers went into ' defense ' mode.

Not many know what a telco is. AT&T is a telco. Comcast acts as one since they rebrand what a Telco does.

Those are examples from my CA perspective.

Oddly, the media hasn't picked up on what seems to be a severe event. Usually the FBI gets involved since what you are reporting is considered domestic act of terror. IOW, some party is attacking our vital infrastructure

Thats the bigger picture , as I understand it, and what I was looking for.
