Is the only way you can get to the ensemble variations is either by holding the shift button and ensemble button at same time ( very hard to do when playing) and the other being going through the menu. I guess what I want to know is there another way. It would be logical to just hold the ensemble button but that does not work unless I have to make a setting I don't know about. RC

You can assign this function to a pedal.

I'm afraid that's about it!!

The pedal option will only toggle ON/OFF

I believe you are wanting to bring up the ensemble page (screen)
I think you will need to bring up that page first before starting the number.

Seriously, the EC5 pedal board is worth its weight in gold (but still does solve this requirement)
