Yes. The padKontrol behaves as a USB-MIDI interface. MIDI messages sent from a connected computer to the MIDI OUT device are passed to the MIDI Out port, and messages coming to the MIDI In port are passed to the MIDI IN device.
However, when USB is connected, the padKontrol Trigger Pad, X-Y pad, and assignable knob-generated MIDI messages pass to the MIDI IN Port A and Port B. For these messages to pass to the MIDI Out port would require the software to retransmit the MIDI data back to the padKontrol. |
