I'm not sure that subject line is entirely accurate, but anyway here goes...

I want to copy all of the relevant parameters of a program which sounds a certain way when used in the context of a Combi, and paste them into that same program in Program mode, so that the program sounds exactly the same (or as close as possible) as it does when used in the Combi.

Make sense?

For example, in a Combi called "The Long Fairytale," Timbre 11 is a program called Balaphone (I-C001). But it sounds one way in the Combi, and markedly different in Program mode. I assume this is because whoever programmed the Combi changed some of the parameters, effects, etc.

So how can I get the stand-alone Balaphone to sound like the Combi Balaphone?

Thanks.

I am not finding the Combi called "The Long Fairytale," on my Kronos.
My K is 99% similar to the 2015 Kronos.

Are you sure this is a factory combi ?

Provide more details

Hi Greg:

The Long Fairytale is not a factory Combi. It's part of a set sold by Karma-Lab.

But the principle is the same for ANY Combi. There will be certain parameter setting for any Programs used as Timbres within a Combi. Those settings may or may not be identical to those used in that same Program when in Program mode. I want to know if there's a way to copy the parameter settings from a Program (ANY Program) in Combi mode and paste those settings into that same Program in Program mode, so that they sound identical.

I think I understand what you want, and it makes sense.

Assuming the big dif is use of FX:

I am guessing. Go to that combi. Press IFX tab.
Select the timbre/program or routing[?].
See the menu upper right hand corner.
Press " Copy Fx"

From here you get a dialog box and it appears you can copy
the FX to another Program of your choice.

I haven't tried it but it seems thats the way to go { or manually, 1 FX at a time
which is time consuming].
