from user "B.Save" we got the information that Pa1000 (at least with firmware 1.2) works the same way as Pa900/600 did by triggering Fill-Ins manually with two buttons (Autofill + Variation) pressed at same time.

That really are good news - not because it is necessary monkey-like handling of buttons to realize a simple fill-in - but because in order to save a style setting with an additional start status (Fill before Variation).

As mentioned above Pa900/600 had the hidden function to start a style with a Fill-In, also without Fill-In buttons.

Like triggering Fill-Ins manually with two buttons at same time (Autofill + any Variation) during StylePlay, you could do so with three buttons of Pa900/600 before starting a Style with start/stop-button.

Variation was blinking and style of memorized style setting starts after start/stop with that manually preselected Fill-In and continued with the chosen variation.

An example with style of style setting stopped: first press Variation4 and also release Variation4-button, then press both buttons Autofill + Fill2, so Variation 4 would blink. Style will start with Fill2 and then will continue with Variation 4.

Pa1000-Users would you be so kind to confirm whether this works the same way with the Pa1000?

For me that would be a huge advantage for the songbook in style play mode. All that's missing now is the small improvement "lock the selected Keyboard Sets" as announced for Pa4x

I hope that the announced "lock the selected Keyboard Sets" also for Pa1000 ist planned in an update Pa1000 OS NEXT, to get a similar flexibility as usual with previous models, eg thinking of Previous / Next function of SetList!
