Guys, I have placed some , hopefully, usefull data for you at http://korgpatches.com/patches/m50/

See patches:

"M50programssorted" - four PCG files with allmost all available programs for M50 properly sorted by categories/banks.

"M50 print programs macro" - just excel file with macro which allow you to print out content of programs in your PCG files. That is usefull for manual preparation(or update) of Sonar instrument definitions if you have customised content of your PCG files in librarian.

"Korg M50 sonar ins files"- there was a discussion at: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=69103
on playing SMF midi files, so I have prepared both normal and alternative(GM2) versions of Cakewalk Sonar instrument definition files.
These are based on preload content but using the macro above you can adjust these INS files for your customized content.

Enjoy.

Bad news: Aldan Librarian project officially discontinued.

Good news: Please find FREE Aldan Librarian and related documentation at : http://korgpatches.com/patches/m50/
Free registration key is universal so it works for M50, M3, OASYS and for Kronos (before OS 1.0.5)

Enjoy!

Shocked WOOOOOOW!!! Shocked

Really thankful for this!!

Right now I'm downloading the files...
Just ended my summer work session and until now I had no time to check all the possibilities of my M50 :/

Your software and PCGtools by Michel Keijzers would be REALLY HELPFUL!!

Hi,

I have known about this for a while but never snagged it to check it out since I haven't been doing diddly with my M50 for some time now. How come you decided to not continue with it? Is the key in the files area here the one to open/use the 1.0.* version of the library? I saw a post in the M50 yahoo group about emailing for a newer version of the librarian. Do I still need to do so, or is it available somewhere online to download (and use the reg key from here)?

Mike

Frankly speaking, I was expecting people to start sharing some interesting stuff made in ALL when it became free. Like new sounds/arps/drums but that is not the case ...yet.
However, I recently did several packs of user drum patterns for myself (Blues, Country, Rock and PowerRock) by converting midi files from Sonar SessionDrummer (looks like that was originally produced by GrooveMonkey).
As a result, all these goodies appeared to be too much for my limited music practice.
If someone is interested in it, please, drop message below and I will share it via KorgPatches site.
