With Pa1000 the function of "StyleToKbdSet" should letting styles choose the Keyboard Sounds as described in Manual page 55.

If using Styles as resources of Songbook-Entries with "StyleToKbdSet" to "Off" the styles should not select a Keyboard Set. But with Pa1000 also setting that switch to "Off", you get KeyboardSet changed to "KbdSet#1".

That is a bad thing with a running style and changing sb-entry (with next, previous or with setlist-buttons). You never could get a soft transision between that styles, because KbdSét always changes to KbdSet#1, that means hateful rumbling and interruptions because the four realtime-tracks are changed with all its parameters and effects.

Therefore these function is useless because it reacts in a completely different way with the songbook than it was possible with "SingleTouch" ie with the Pa3x/800/500/900.

With this malfunction one can no longer be satisfactorily with song-specific styles and therefore ask to try to fix this malfunction with an OS update of the Pa1000.

Can I suggest that you visit the Korg World website.

Sign up for the next live Korg Webinar

Then take part in the live streaming event where you can ask questions and the two Korg Representatives who will answer your question

There was one Monday and there is another in about two weeks.

Hopefully they can take onboard the issues you have and action accordingly.

These Reps are UK based and they know their way around the menu systems far better that I and the quirks that there are with it.

BTW
1000/700 owners should expect a version of OSIMO for these keyboards this year.

Thank you for your suggestion, but it is not possible for me to participate in the webinar.

I do not have any questions for the Korg representatives regarding the operation of the Pa1000.

I just want to know if and when the faulty function "StyleToKbdSet" is corrected in such a way, that it does not cause a change to KbdSet#1 as described and intended in the position "OFF" when choosing a Sb-entry.

Letting Styles choose the Keyboard Sounds - Manual Page 55 wrote:

Choosing a Style might automatically choose Keyboard Sounds. This depends on the STYLE TO KBD SET indicator (KBD SET = Keyboard Set).
STYLE TO KBD SET indicator - Meaning Off: Styles do not select a Keyboard Set...

The idea was that you Post the question directly to them live and then see their reaction.

Posting such queries here are not likely to gain anything, posting to Korg reps have a better chance of being relayed up the chain for consideration by Korg developers.

Give the numbers of posts you have made on limitations of the Operating system just how many have you actually reported to Korg and how many have resulted in actions being taken by Korg?
