Hi. I am trying to import a sample. When I do it it says "File contains unsupported data"
I recorded the sample using my iPhone and an app called AVR the sample is .wav, stereo, sample rate 48khz and 16bits per sample as it says in the manual. I don't know if it is uncompressed linear PCM though.
I would br grateful for any help. Thanks |

Do you have the latest version of AVR ?
The app has been updated on 10 Jan 2019.
Version 7.8 of AVR fixes file transfer error in other apps. |

The Kronos definitely accepts 48k and that is the preferred sample rate.
Not sure if it accepts other sample rates. It probably does. And if it does it probably performs a sample rate conversion.

Thanks for replying. Yes I do have version 7.8 thanks. Downloaded onto my iphone yesterday specifically for the task.
I currently have the files settings as wav, encode quality - high, sample rate 48000, bit rate 320kbs, stereo
Are there any better apps maybe which would solve the problem? |

I have no idea. I just don't use it.
The best way to find out is to try it yourself.
And don't be fooled by statements like "#Rank 1 Business app in 35 Countries". And remember there are always FREE apps, and some of them are TOP CLASS.
P.S.
Use an app like MediaInfo or VLC player (Free) to get more info what's the codec.
In VLC, media info window let's you see DETAILS |
