|
|
Hi all
This is a question I have been wanting to ask for some time but keep forgetting.....
(This is NOT a new V3 issue)
Can someone please help me with this.
I have most of my songs (in a setlist) which require a vocal harmony setting.
Mostly I just use the great VH presets.
OK, so I set up the keyboard for a song with a VH preset and store it in SONGBOOK and linked to my SETLIST - all works fine except this:-
Every time I select the song my Harmony button light is ON and for all my songs I initially want it to be OFF.
This is what I have done but maybe I've missed something here you can help with:-
I edit the VH preset and change the Harmony ON/OFF option to OFF and then store it as a VH USER setting.
I've had to do this for all my songs which use VH so I now have to have an edited VH setting for all the VH presets I use where I DO NOT want harmony to instantly be ON when selecting from SONGBOOK-SETLIST.
SONGBOOK sadly does not retain the Harmony and Mic button ON/OFF status otherwise all would work fine...
Surely I've missed something here?????
Thanks

The proceedind you described is the right one. It wokrs for me, but I must emphasise that I still use OS 2.2
On what basis do you claim it is not a bug? _________________ Korg pa5x vs Genos 2 - spec comparison |

This has not changed for me from all previous OS versions.
Is it a bug?
There's nothing in the manual that says the Harmony/Mic buttons status is retained in SONGBOOK so I question whether it is a bug but then, if it is a bug it's been around for a very long time
Thanks for your response.

Now I understand, what you meant.
I confirm Harmony/Mic buttons status was never retained in SONGBOOK. Those settings are ONLY kept in VH preset. _________________ Korg pa5x vs Genos 2 - spec comparison |

Pretty much the same question I asked a couple of days ago. Still haven’t resolved it
