Its great that Stephen stays involved.
He is on the very top , in making numerous Korg keyboards amazing and creative. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

If I am to be honest - probably about an 8, which I'd still consider very good. It's a great community with friendly folk willing to help each other out. My questions have been answered here pretty swiftly, and I've hopefully answered a few for others too. Moderators seem to do a nice job.
Minus one point because there's more modern forum software that (IMO) is much better than phpBB these days (discourse). By design, it just makes it a lot easier to follow topics you are interested in and encourages community building/involvement. Also much better on mobile devices.
And minus one point because it's just not terribly active. I tend to check in once a week or so now, and looking at the top 10 recent posts, there are maybe only 1 or 2 new ones since my last visit, usually. Granted, I typically only visit the Kronos forum (and occasionally the announcements/news one). And this particular board is about a product that hasn't seen a new feature release for quite some time. So maybe there's just not that much to talk about. |

All very true.
Yes, old school forum software. To be a realist, that's all we are going to get out of Korg , plus their financial support is the best we can expect.
I agree, the forum activity is somewhat ebbing. Once again, as a realist, folks are more excited about new products. Since Korg's Kronos related new products are few, well, there you have it.
I still think this is as good as it gets. Same with Kronos- enjoy what we have.
Kronos is still on a very good roll, which, compared to other keyboards...I rest my case. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

I agree with all of this. I’m grateful for all the help.
One observation.... the Montage forum has the charismatic, dedicated ‘Bad Mister’ from Yamaha who is always active and incredibly helpful. (My Montage 6 is now up for sale, so I won’t be visiting there much anymore! )
We are still fortunate to have the genius that is Stephen Kay !
It’s a 9 from me _________________ Kurzweil K2700, Korg Nautilus 61, Yamaha MODX6

... updating my response... I give it out 9/10... After 8 years, still no Tapatalk or mobile-friendly access. I'm typing on my phone now but i gotta squint to read an entire line at a time. I love these forums though, you can't get better information on Korg hardware anywhere else, they are very well organized and moderated. _________________ Korg Kronos-61, 01/Wfd, SONAR Pro

Being there since 2002 and passed from Triton to Kronos forum. It is the most qualitative forum with expert tips about the Kronos.
Moderation is good but could be better, especially for login problems, which is why I won't give it 10.
My rating is 8/10. _________________ Chris (Belgium) |

Hello everyone, I would give a 9, it is an excellent forum.
minus one point, because several days ago I made a publication regarding the new update 1.4 of the Pa700 operating system, and nobody said anything. this is a bit disappointing. but otherwise it is a great place. regards _________________ Hans
