Got my Monologue XD a few days ago. Sounds good, and its a great synth, but I'm experiencing a few bugs I think!

1. No matter what option I choose (vco1, cvo2, all, 1+2, multi) the LFO always affects all oscillators.

2. When using the synth with a DAW, the sequencer plays to its internal tempo for a few seconds before locking on to the DAW tempo.

Anyone with a XD who has the same issues?

My number one issue relates to clicks from the Multi oscillator. I'm running ver 1.05 with voice update done. I wonder if anyone could do a test to see if theirs does too?

The test:
Find an Init Program. Turn the volume of the Multi osc up and the others down. Put into unison or mono mode then select the VPM oscillator and play a few notes. You should hear a nice pure sinewave, right? Now raise the Amp envelope release anywhere above zero and play more notes. Does this introduce weird clicks? It does on mine but can't be sure if it's mine alone without another user trying it out...

cheers

Thanks - it's always good to know I'm not alone. Will chase Korg about it.

A little addition to my inital post, regarding issue nr 1: It turns out the LFO can be assigned to any oscillator (or all) for everything besides cutoff. And when I read manual more closely it occurs to me that the XD actually works the way the manual says... So my first "bug" is actually not a bug.

Spotted a bug today, small one, where the LFO intensity can slip into negative amounts even without using the shift key. Happens in Scale mode, possibly the expected scaling to zero not being correctly picked up. A full turn to zero fixes. (Goes to see if knobs can be calibrated...)

Firmware Version 1.10

I discovered that Voice Mode Type is not responding to MIDI CC 52 as described in the Midi Implementation Chart while I was trying to create a complete MIDI mapping of the Minilogue XD.

Sent a support request to Korg, hoping for a fix, as it would be a shame if this would be the only thing that is not assignable on its surface.
