I use Songbook extensively. I use the OS as it came from Korg. |
Then you should have experienced at least some bugs :
-Cannot add user sb entries to DIRECT setlist. You have to save the entry first to DIRECT songbook (I think pa1000 does this without saving first to Direct songbook).
I seldom use DIRECT. Everything is loaded into keyboard.
- switching from a mp3 sb entry to another, sometimes it keeps the previous mp3...
I use primarily styles and a few midi files, not MP3s.
- changing transposed sb entries, doesn't always get the transpose function at first beat orbar
I don't set transpose in SB entries. I play in any key.
- search function might stuck, but unfreezes if you clear all and press ok
I've never used the Search function since the upgrade.
- After disable connection to HD,try to add titles on setlists and see what happens.... |
Haven't tried this either. As I said, I open SB entries and play. _________________ DonM |

Hacked or Not, in my setup the most important thing are is it working!
is it suitable for my eyes, colors etc.
AND YES , I like this one better It,s Working anyway |
Absolutely cool and of course, your decision but please do not report any bugs now that you have an unsupported OS - it would be totally unfair and irrelevant.
Thanks

I'm shure you don't ,otherwise you would have noticed some, but that doesn't mean that there are no bugs ,and the keyboard is super wow now with 3.01 as many users say....

We are using the same Os...all bugs found using only factory resources and some mp3...the same ones used fine at Version2.2
Every time a new Os update comes out, all those users who find bugs are treated in the beginning like they have faulty sets,or don't do right what they do.
Sometimes, they are treated the same even if bugs are confirmed.......
This forum is supposed to help users,no need for that.
Better listen to what other users discover every day for their keyboardand try to learn

Me,too....so what ? Bug is there, that is just an information, usefull formany users.

This is not a bug and works exactly as Korg specifies.... |
I recently made some styles and sb entries on pa1000,and if i remember right ,it was able to let adding internal sb entries into Direct songbook ,maybe i am wrong as i said earlier cause i had already a copy loaded into direct set.....
Generally i believe that the major V3.01problems are the restart problem, pad sync and the graphic environment....other bugs are minority, but still exist on an instrument that was supposed to work right out of the box 3 years ago or more. _________________

This was what i sugested on another post a while ago if the hack is possible and the OS works great with changing colors, fonts or whatever than KORG should make this functions available to everyone i dont think is that difficult from technical point to give user the option to increase font SIZE or change the colour scheme.
Probably its a marketing strategy to not fix some reported bugs and hold some new functions time will tell. |

Yes changing of colors should be a must ... Now changing fonts one or two points , is all you could do , the screen lay out would change .
and true ,korg know the bugs in os3 and korg just fix a few of the and gave us os3.1 .... why knot do the job right and fix all of the bugs that we know of... |
