Hi Kronosers

I have a good friend who is not only an amazing keyboard/piano player but who owns almost every keyboard from Nords to Rolands to Hammonds to Moog to Rhodes etc...etc..
But he doesn't own a Kronos!!!

He has recently bought the amazing Johannus 3-manual digital pipe organ (Aus$21,000) so I visited him on Friday and took my Kronos and we performed an A/B test using the Kronos combi patches "Pipe Organ on Sliders 1 & 2" through the same sound system and wow - the Kronos was almost impossible to pick

I (and he) was blown away. I must in fairness say that the Johannus' Cathedral reverbs are the best.

Just wanted to share.

Love the KK!!!!

Pete Very Happy

If you never did it, I recommend to send Kronos Pipe organ sound toward Eventide Black Hole reverb unit, either on its harware version (Eventide Space) or its VST version. It's great !

Hi karmathanever,

Interesting you mention this, as I am currently working on a big church organ sampling project since a few weeks. I can only work part time on this of course, but if all goes well I should be done maybe around Christmas.

You are correct that the Kronos pipe organ stock ROM samples sound surprisingly good in the combos you mention.
