I purchased a Korg Kronos 2 88 this week. I updated the system firmware from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 without any issue. I also set the auto power off feature to 1 hour. Now whenever the Kronos powers off automatically, it yields a system startup failed issue at the next startup. I have to remove the power cord from the workstation for 30 seconds and reinsert it to overcome the problem. What could be the issue in my case?

Kronos is demanding of consistent power.

Just to troubleshoot, skip the auto power off. Power down manually.

You didn't mention if your K2 was a new purchase or is it used.

This makes a difference.

It is a new purchase. I just wanted to know if there could be anything wrong with the power supply/motherboard because it is an expensive product.

Make sure you have solid consistent power. Here in the US, that is a standard.

After that check up, if you still have 'system startup failed', return exchange it with your dealer.

system startup failures is not the standard with a factory new Kronos. It suggests you have a K2 with a defective component. DIY is not necessary on a new K2.

The system works OK. The error happens due to some electricity in the power supply. However, my K2 is showing new problem. Two keys (A3 and A4) have begun clacking.

SHOULD I RETURN THE WORKSTATION FOR A REPLACEMENT?

Here is a video of the key problem:

absolutely. Keys will not fix themselves.

Here in the US, we would call our retailer within 30 days from date of purchase , and state the keyboard is defective. Then the retailer/dealer gives you return steps.
