Next styls
Styls are also included when performing the update to next
that was OK, until I put the back up again
Next is still there but the styls (next) are no longer
how can I only import it into the PA
I do not know ??

Do read the update PDF file and follow the advice within.

I do hope that prior to the update that you performed

1 a full Backup of the operating system

2 did a Save All

Hi Rudy

1. Did you ever change any of your Factory styles?
If not, then there is little to worry about

Make sure you perform a full backup (MEDIA>>Save-All) to your HDDD or USB etc...

After the V3 installation (and you MUST perform the last step which is the factory restore as per the installation manual) you will notice some new styles in the Favorite banks - when you re-load your saved SET these Favorite banks will most likely be overwritten.
You can reload manually all the new V3 styles because they are supplied as part of the update data.

but?
how do I manually reload the V3 styls
is not clearly stated in the manual
I have little experience with that, and I am even afraid of damaging or losing something irreparably

Hi Rudy

It is worth reading through the latest manual (E19 - Page 56+) and experimenting with MEDIA mode.
This explains how to selectively load resources and hence will help you with loading from the V3 set provided with the update download.

Have a read and a play and then come back with any questions.

I am not fobbing you off with "Read the manual" but as you seem to be very very new to this, it is a good idea to learn the basic modes by just playing around in conjunction with the manual.

redo the entire procedure
had seen that there is a version 3.0.1 now
I just installed this
but still no NEXT styls
or would that be because I play on a Pa4X Musician?

I have learned something here anyway

Hi Rudy

As part of the OS 3.0.1 installation you MUST perform the "Factory Restore" as per the instructions - did you do this?/
If not, you will not see the new styles and sounds....

and so as I said, I play the Korg Musician
an update from UK will certainly not work?

EVERYTHING SEEMS OK

coincidentally I came across a styl that I know comes with Next (Venus)
then I went to look deeper
and indeed, all new styls are present
I thought these were nicely placed in a bank Next
But that's not true
a part is in the factory part
another part in the user part
etc.
BUT, everything is OK

Hi,

Osimo will not work with MUSIKANT "out of the box".

You´ll have to change all the sounds and styles manually !

The INTERNATIONAL and the MUSIKANT store sounds and styles in different places !
