Ever since the latest update, I have been getting an "Access Denied" error when I try to SAVE a NEWSET onto a USB drive. This USB drive has been very dependable. I create new setlists all the time for my gigs and backup the set to a USB and bring them into my PC and use the Songbook editor to tweak it, then load it back in.

When I write to the USB, sometimes I get an Access Denied and sometimes I don't;. If I attempt to save two or three more times, it will save successfully.

It does this with ANY USB thumb drive.

Anyone else have this?

Never had this problem

Does this occur in both front and rear USB ports?

Very Happy

When you edit USB folders in PC then some attributes and policies meta data are created for those folders that are not recognized
by Pa Linux type OS.
Normally we must not edit folders at all in PC/Mac via PC USB connection , only copy and overwrite content files that were edited by
external editors with Korg extensions that are not modified by PC/Mac OS.
The cure in such cases in Media interface is to select from upper screen menu "Un-protect" function for the edited folder.

I am thinking there is possibly a fault with the front port.
If different USB drives have the same problem in the front and not in the back, then it might be worth getting your local service guys involved

Cheers

Antony, thanks for your input. I'm actually saving to the root of the Thumb drive and have not created any sub folders.
